Site Engineer - Singapore

Job Details:

Degree in Civil Engineering
1-4 years of site experience
Inspection and supervise Contractors works and ensure standard of material, workmanships, quality control of all civil / structural works are satisfactorily achieved.
Keep proper record of all works including but not limited to tests, inspections, minutes of site meeting.
Monitor and report on the works progress and highlight to S.O. any delay by Contractor and get Contractor to submit mitigation measures.
Assigning work, giving instructions, and making decisions on various engineering and administrative problems in connection with inspecting the work involved in heavy grading, rock surfacing, asphalt concrete and Portland cement concrete paving and the construction of buildings , culverts , Drainages.
Making engineering inspections; ensuring compliance with plans and specifications; monitoring contractors work and progress.
Ensuring that project construction conforms to traffic control, environmental, hazardous waste and storm water pollution prevention criteria.
Involving in correspondence with contractor resolving contract project related issues.

• To check all drawings and Specifications and ensure the latest copy is kept in site office at all times.
• To check and sign off Daily, Weekly and Monthly Site reports submitted by Contractor.
• To resolve site problems raised by Contractors and seek QPs consent on the solution if necessary.
• Able to communicate well with other building professionals and consultants on building detailing works
